曼谷贏得2013年亞太商務旅客獎：亞太區最佳休閒度假景點 2013年11月25日
2013年9月底於香港Conrad飯店舉行的“亞太商務旅客獎”頒獎典禮上，泰國飯店、航空公司和旅遊景點在56個獎項中囊括了13個大獎。
曼谷贏得的“亞太最佳休閒度假景點”獎由泰國觀光局香港辦事處處長Ms. Titiporn Maneenate代表領獎。
泰國觀光局局長Suraphon Svetasreni在曼谷獲獎後表示：“我們的調查顯示旅客喜愛曼谷因為這個城市非常物超所值並且擁有豐富多樣的景點，滿足不同年齡層及不同喜好的人。不論是休閒娛樂、美味的佳餚、高品質生活、迷人的文化或是居民們的友善殷勤，曼谷真正滿足適合每位遊客。”
“除了有購物中心、百貨公司和傳統市場之外，曼谷同時也是泰國文化中心，是一座真正的大都會城市，完美融合了舊與新，不論城市幾世紀以來如何的演化，它仍舊對外國遊客擁有無窮的吸引力，它的現代建築以及延伸的交通系統讓造訪的每位遊客的更加享受。”
亞太商務旅客雜誌聲稱每月共發行55,000份雜誌，在各大書店、飯店及航空公司貴賓休憩室等等，至今商務旅客亞太獎已堂堂邁入第二十二屆。
Bangkok wins 2013 Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards: Best Leisure Destination in Asia-Pacific
Bangkok has won the “Best Leisure Destination in the Asia-Pacific” award, according to the annual Readers Poll conducted by Business Traveller Asia-Pacific. Thailand has also received another top award, the “Best Business Hotel in Bangkok” won by the Shangri-La Hotel.
Altogether, Thai hotels, airlines and tourist destinations figured prominently in 13 of the 56 categories of the awards conferred by the magazine at a gala ceremony held on 27 September 2013 at the Conrad Hotel Hong Kong.
